seafood restaurant had been in business
for 25 years, its a family run one with one of his sons recently had graduated
as a chef in Switzerland works for him.
“The banquet hall is fully decorated for all occasions, can
easily cater for over 600 customers, it has a stage for performing ceremonies,
cultural and entertainment shows, it can
have karaoke sessions, and for a smaller
groups below 280 customers it has
another hall in a different part of the building with a lift,” he said..
He said there are enough areas to park cars and tourists who
visit Taiping seeking seafood frequently choose his restaurant for its cool, comforting
and relaxing atmosphere after their weary day visiting tourist spots.
He said he recently had drawn out three sets of combination
accordingly. His last year 2012 the set costing RM458 net per table had eight verities
of dishes and its menu shows dishes of
five hot and cold combination, dry scallops shark fin soup, double
flavoured chicken, Thai style snapper fish, fried lotus roots with nuts, butter
falvoured prawns, special fried rice and soya pudding dessert.
The set costing RM598
also had the same number of dishes and the dishes are five hot and cold
combination, dry scallop shark fins soup, roasted piglet and duck, steamed pomfret
fish, fried lotus roots with nuts, double falvoured prawns, 'char siew' fried
rice and soya and longan pudding dessert.
The costly one was RM998 net
has the same number of dishes and they are lobster combination, superior
seafood soup, Hong Kong style
roasted piglet, abalones with goose feet
combination, double flavoured prawns, crab mea with vegetables and coconut
pudding for dessert.
